6. Computer nuclear physics in research and education.(Section 6)
- knowledge and data bases in nuclear physics and its applications;

- training in the field of nuclear physics in Russia and foreign countries;
- study of general and special sections of nuclear physics in higher education.



The program includes plenary sessions with invited and review reports (talks up to 20-30 min.), topical parallel sessions (oral talks up to 10-20 min.) and poster sessions. On Section 6 a visit to the laboratory of atomic and nuclear physics and computer classes of ChPI MGOU is planned. Organizing Committee will send the working program of the Conference to all participants at a later date. Participants are provided with modern hardware for presentation of the report: multimedia projector (Viewer Microsoft Power Point 2003), overhead.


CONFERENCE LANGUAGES

Conference languages: Russian and English.

PLACE OF CONFERENCE

The conference will be held in the capital of the Republic of Chuvashia (Russia) - the city of Cheboksary, located on the picturesque right bank of the river Volga. There is regular traffic:
- one flight per day from Moscow,
- train from Moscow (670 km, the daily night train from the Kazan railway station), and from St. Petersburg,
- bus traffic to railway station Kanash (70 km) on the Moscow-Siber runk-railway;
- bus from Moscow, St. Petersburg, Nizhny Novgorod, Kazan, Ulyanovsk, Yoshkar-Ola, and others.
There is an airport, railway station, bus station and the river port in the city.

VISAS AND INVITATIONS FOR FOREIGN PARTICIPANTS EXCEPT THE CITIZENS OF COUNTRIES OF CIS AND STAFF OF JOINT INSTITUTE FOR NUCLEAR RESEARCH (JINR, DUBNA, RUSSIA)

The participants of the Conference and accompanying persons (who need entry visas to Russian Federation) are kindly asked to fill in and send to the Organizing Committee the questionnaire form (from this web-site) before March 15, 2009. In addition send, please before March 15, 2009 the copies of passport pages reflecting name, sex, passport number, date of issue and date of expire, place and date of birth. It is desirable to send all these data by e-mail (copy of the passport in .jpg format) to Prof. V.Samarin (nucleus2009-59conf@yandex.ru) or by fax +7-8352-630459 (to Prof. V.Samarin). Upon receipt of the required personal data Moscow State Open University together with Foreign Affairs Ministry of Russian Federation will send to the participants an official invitation by mail, fax or e-mail with which they should apply to the Russian Consulate for their visas. The participants are asked to acknowledge receipt of the invitation and the visa.

COSTS AND ACCOMMODATION FOR FOREIGN PARTICIPANTS EXCEPT THE CITIZENS OF COUNTRIES OF CIS AND STAFF OF JOINT INSTITUTE FOR NUCLEAR RESEARCH (JINR, DUBNA, RUSSIA)

The registration fee amounting to 250 euros for participants and 150 euros for accompanying persons should be paid in cash during registration at the Conference. It includes the cost of invitation processing, the book of abstracts, the banquet, the reception, cultural events and transfer. Transfer from airport to the hotel and back to the airport in Cheboksary is provided for. If it will be necessary, transfer in Moscow from airport to the railway station for transportation to Cheboksary can be organized too. The Organizing Committee will arrange transportation from the airport/railway terminals to the ChPI MGOU based on exact travel plans. So please inform us about the date, flight/train number and time of your arrival and departure from Cheboksary as soon as you book/purchase your travel tickets. See the person with the tablet "NUCLEUS-2009" at the terminal.

CONDITIONS OF PARTICIPATION FOR THE CITIZENS OF RUSSIA AND COUNTRIES OF CIS AND STAFF OF JOINT INSTITUTE FOR NUCLEAR RESEARCH (JINR, DUBNA, RUSSIA)

The registration fee for the citizens of Russia and countries of CIS and staff of Joint Institute for Nuclear Research (JINR, Dubna, Russia) amounts 800 rubles, if the participant pays into account in advance (until May 10, look at Russian text of First announcement). If the participant pays fee during registration, it will amount 1000 rubles. The Organizing Committee has the limited possibility of financial support of young scientists from Russia and countries of CIS, whose age is less than 35 years. Participants of Conference from Russia and countries of CIS pay expenditures on transport, accommodation and meals on their own. The Organizing Committee will book rooms in hotels of Cheboksary near the conference venue.

ARRIVAL AND REGISTRATION

Arrival dates are June 14 15, 2009. Registration will be held between 9-30 and 12 00 a.m. on June 15 in the building "L" of ChPI MGOU at P. Lumumba st., 8. The Conference opening will be at 12-00, on June 15, 2009 in the conference hall of the building "L" of ChPI MGOU.

PUBLICATION

The book of abstracts will be published and distributed among participants during the Conference. We kindly ask to submit the abstracts of talks only in electronic form using Word (in .rtf format) to Organizing Committee, e-mail: nucleus2009-59conf@yandex.ru (the Text theme) with a copy to Dr. A. Vlasnikov, e-mail: nucleus2009@mail.ru by March 15, 2009. The text of abstracts should be prepared in Russian or English using Times New Roman fonts and should not exceed strictly one page of A4 size (210mm x 297 mm, left margin 30mm, upper margin 20 mm, right margin 20 mm, bottom margin 20 mm) including figures, tables and references. The title font size is 16 pt, bold, centered, line spacing 1. The authors list should be typed using 14 pt fonts, line spacing 1. Names of authors are before surnames and separated by a break from surnames. The list of organizations should be typed in italic, 12 pt fonts, line spacing 1, with semicolons between names of the organizations. If the authors work in different organizations these organizations should be enumerated with the numbers given in the superscripts after the author's name in the list of authors and in superscripts before the name of organization in the list of organizations. E-mail addresses of speakers must follow a list of organizations on a single line (font size 12 pt, line spacing 1). The body of a text should be prepared using 14 pt fonts, line spacing 1. The bibliography list (12 pt) should be enumerated and the reference numbers in a body of the abstracts should be in brackets. The author's name in the bibliography should be before surname without any break between them. Only monochrome images of high contrast are allowed. The figures captions should be prepared using 12 pt, italic. The template of the abstracts can be downloaded from here (example from Conference NUCLEUS-2008). We ask authors to add one more page to the abstracts with contact e-mail of the authors, the conference section (from the list of topics of the Conference), the name of a speaker, sort of report (oral presentation on plenary or topical parallel sessions, or poster). Permission for publication of abstracts (for authors from Russia) should be sent by fax: Fax: +7-812-4287240 (Prof. K. A. Gridnev). The Proceedings of this Conference will be published by the journals "Bulletin of Russian Academy of Science, Series of Physics" (for talks presented at parallel or poster sessions) and "Physics of Atomic Nuclei" (for talks at plenary sessions, one number in 2010). During the conference authors must submit to the Organizing Committee materials processed according to the rules of journals "Bulletin of Russian Academy of Science, Series of Physics" and "Physics of Atomic Nuclei". Articles must be accompanied by permission for the publication from the organization, which carried out the work. Articles sent to the Conference by e-mail are not accepted.
